About The Team

We are looking for a Growth leader to own and accelerate our efforts around building the best in class Growth engine to acquire, engage and retain users on the Disney+ Hotstar platform. The objective is to build the overall strategy, set up processes to manage the lifecycle of the customer and help unlock the multiple growth teams across Acquisition, Activation, Engagement, Data & Analytics, and Growth R&D.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and driving overall performance of the teams by applying growth principles – including experimentation, data-driven optimization, and customer-centric product experiences. The role will also involve coaching and leading a team of growth marketers, analysts and data scientists to focus on areas like Visual merchandising & User comms, Content programming, Planning, New Innovations and Growth Intelligence.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build Growth frameworks that help in long term planning and scalable solutions, while also enabling the teams to do rapid experimentation and micro optimisations on a daily basis
  • Develop a deep understanding of User behaviour and preferences at a micro cohort level and build intelligence that will help unlock future growth opportunities
  • Build user insights that are actionable across all the life stages of the consumers and unlock growth teams
  • Build team capabilities around Marketing tech stack including Experimentation platform, Data platform and CRM platforms
  • Build capability for growth teams to design and execute experiments and also to drive comprehensive test and measurement plans that can drive overall effectiveness of growth initiatives
  • Own and optimize all Growth Operations that are critical for delivering a targeted and personalizedexperience for the users on the platform. This includes on-platform assets and user communication channels including Notifications, Emails, Whatsapp etc
  • Drive launch planning, scale up and discovery for different types of entertainment content and live sports depending on the user preferences
  • Build a Planning function for the growth org that can drive overall business goals and help define success metrics and monitoring of goals at a granular level

What To Bring

  • Proficiency with data and attribution tools, deep analytics, performance monitoring and product research methodologies
  • 12+ years of experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders with high attention to detail
  • Ability to turn complex data and insights into easily understood data stories
  • Having a growth mindset and someone who is comfortable in a cross functional environment and has to work on challenging problems and deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to lead with influence and work collaboratively with multiple cross functional teams
  • A willingness to work outside of the scope in order to bring alignment and better overall outcomes to the business at large
  • Experienced in driving growth through experimentation and analysis
  • Self-driven with a high degree of ownership and have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and planning/project management skills
