
Sandoz
- Lead team focused on valuation and preparation for selection; drive portfolio selection process, managing the cross-functional evaluation of assets, coordinating internal stakeholders, and building compelling insights for business case development and go/no go decision with established central governance process.
- Provide the framework and decision-making process for informing make vs buy decisions and ensure close collaboration with BD and alliance managers to ensure Sandoz leverages its strategic partners to the fullest.
- Responsibilities include oversight of full pipeline value with supporting analysis on performance gaps, needs and areas of risk.
- Ensure seamless processes and operational efficiency for pipeline selection aligned with central governance and organization strategic direction.
- In collaboration with the regions, consolidate gap fillers and wish lists into a global view for opportunity assessment, ensuring internal development, business development and in-licensing deals are appropriately scaled across the globe to leverage economies of scale and maximize return on development.
- Provide leadership to the teams, ensuring cross collaboration to secure best pipeline and portfolio decisions for Sandoz.
- Lead team culture ensuring a cohesive and open environment that encourages debate and discussion.
- Support capability development and identify & support individual talent within the teams.
Essential Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
- University degree in/and Business Administration, Finance, Economics or pharma/medical/chemical background (combination ideal)
- Fluent/Business Level written and spoken English
- Deep industry experience across the value chain
- + 5years large country portfolio leadership experience
- + 5years large BD leadership experience
- Knowledge and extensive network in Generic CMOs & CDMOs
- Experience in commercial launch preparation and excellence
- > 5 years commercial experience
Desirable Requirements
- 2nd degree preferred (e.g., PhD, MBA)
- Any additional languages would be preferred
