Challenge yourself and join our team as a Head of Tender team for the Public advisory.

You will be responsible for managing the entire Tender team of 7 people, as well as bidding on tenders and ensuring the successful submission of winning proposals. The role requires strategic thinking, project management, and excellent communication and team management skills. The Tender Team Manager/ Bid Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, consortiums, and experts to develop compelling bids that meet customer requirements and differentiates the company from competitors.

This position is open in following locations: North Macedonia, Kosovo, Georgia, Serbia, Ukraine, Romania and Moldova.

What will you do:

  • Managing Tender Team;
  • Maintaining CIVITTA International tender pipeline;
  • Coordinating/preparing the submissions of the largest international tenders (incl. regional, framework and outside of CIVITTA geography) on behalf of CIVITTA International itself;
  • Ensuring all bid submissions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Performing the early intelligence of the relevant tenders to be announced and developing the needed relationships with consortiums and experts to bid for them;
  • Building a database and maintaining relationships with the key consortium partners and experts to submit joint proposals;
  • Coaching Tender Specialists from CIVITTA International tender department;
  • Complying with international tenders management processes, structure and database(s) and providing feedback for improvements;
  • Continuously improving the bid management process, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Organising experience-sharing activities and trainings for staff involved in international tender bids;
  • Leading cross-functional bid teams, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities and work together effectively.

What do we expect:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager/Tender Team Manager in a serious public consultancy in a bid/business development department;
  • Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear and compelling proposals in English;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of bidding and procurement processes, including experience with public sector bidding processes;
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, is a plus.
