Our international Programme division are currently recruiting for the position of a Head of Support Services. The Head of Support Services is the strategic lead for overall Management of Finance & Supply Chain function of Islamic Relief Afghanistan. The role is responsible for providing an efficient and integrated Financial & Supply chain services to ensure the efficiency, integrity and transparency of the office and sub-office in accordance with IR guidelines, national legal requirements and internationally accepted standards.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CCAB, MBA)
- Experience in working independently and providing initiative in improving finance and Supply Chain functions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present financial matters to non-financial managers.
- Ability to manage and supervise finance and non-finance staff in multiple and remote locations.
- Ability to think and act strategically. High degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office and IRW’s financial systems.
- Ability to develop and build capacities of staff
