Head of Sales Development & Controlling 100% (f,m,d)
Responsibilities
- Analysing and taking responsibility for internal sales structures, processes, channels, and measures
- Development and expansion of existing and future markets in collaboration with the talent acquisition team
- Optimisation of the sales organization and support processes
- Ensuring and expanding KPI-based monitoring with corresponding recommendations for action
- Leading performance sales review meetings in collaboration with the sales business analyst/ controlling
- Developing accurate sales forecasts/risks based on historical data and market trends
- Analysing data-driven performance data to identify trends and growth opportunities to ensure sales expectations are met
- Assist in creating yearly targets and incentive campaigns for sales teams
- Track and evaluate sales team performance against targets and goals, and report to CRO and CFO
- Provide feedback and actionable insights to sales managers and representatives to improve performance
- Collaborate with CRO, CFO, HR, strategy & growth, talent acquisition, training & learning, development and other departments to align on strategy and objectives
Requirements
- Completed studies (Bachelor/ Master) at a top university
- Must criterion: at least five years of professional experience in strategy/ business development/ sales
- Proven experience in scaling companies, sales and digital transformation
- Previous experience in communicating clear insights to top management
- Extensive experience of building data-driven financial or sales models
- You are passionate about sales and digital transformation – you have already gained valuable experience in this area
- We can do-attitude paired with implementation strength
- Analytical and structured way of thinking, creativity, and implementation strengths characterize you
- You are eloquent and stylistically confident in German and English (oral/written)
- Ability to both perform in detailed analytics and to deliver clear actionable insights to stakeholders
- Thorough analytical skills and fair knowledge about usual data complexity topics
- Willingness to confidently drive highly ambitious targets
- Fluent English and German required, French or Italian is a plus
- Strong competence or desire to learn our analytics tools: Salesforce, Tableau, Excel
