The Programme Manager is a key leadership post within the BCU Leadership Team. This post is responsible for ensuring the delivery of BCU strategic Safe Clean Care – Harm Free objectives. The purpose of the job is to programme manage the delivery of an high quality Safe Clean Care – Harm Free service for BCUHB, and ensuring that the project delivers on time and integrates with existing Health Board programmes into.

The Programme Manager will lead on an ambitious transformational strategy across the Safe Clean Care – Harm Free service supporting and driving innovation and redesign. The challenge and remit will be to inspire and drive modernisation and innovation to develop and transform the service in line with the Health Board’s strategic vision. This will encompass a critical role in enabling the Health Board to achieve change whilst maintaining and improving the quality of services. They will lead the Safe Clean Care – Harm Free service and make a major contribution to organisation development and culture change.

The post holder will inspire the organisation to think creatively about the delivery of health care through their own personal commitment to redesign, their continued leadership approach to challenge the norm and their drive to deliver high quality care at the point of access.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is secondment for 12 months due to – meet the needs of the service.
