
Croix-Rouge Française
Created in 2005, the Regional Intervention Platform for the Americas and the Caribbean (PIRAC) is the representative delegation of the French Red Cross for the Caribbean region and its operational mechanism for humanitarian action and regional cooperation.
PIRAC participates in the response to humanitarian crises among the Caribbean populations and develops actions to strengthen resilience in French territories as well as in the countries of the Caribbean arc and the Guyana plateau.
PIRAC also develops support programs for the Caribbean Red Cross and the regional delegations of the French Red Cross in the Antilles and Guyana, and supervises the activities of the Haitian base in the areas of risk prevention, disaster preparedness, reconstruction and development.
Missions
Supervise, lead and coordinate the activities of the team under his/her responsability.
Define and manager the intervention strategy of the CRF in the Caribean/Guyana area.
Coordinate and supervise programs and manage the PIRAC.
Represent and promote CRF’s international action in the Caribbean and the Guyana area.
Ensure coordination and cooperation with the French Red Cross entities in the Caribbean and Guyana.
