Join our Global Business Excellence department in Winterthur and help us to drive operational excellence in our Services Division across regions and product lines and lead the initiative ‘Service Centre of the Future’.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Driving Operational Excellence in our 100+ Service Centers and Parts Manufacturing Centers worldwide together with business leaders to improve overall customer experience, leverage synergies, increase process efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Leading a team of 4 direct reports, as well as Continuous Improvement Champions of the regions.
- Creating a vision for the ‘Service Center of the Future’ and developing a strategy for global implementation.
- Leading the program and executing the strategy through targeted projects together with the business units and own team of project managers and experts. Managing and executing own workstreams.
- Analyzing business processes and systems, identifying improvement potentials, defining and proposing projects including business case and leading the execution.
- Establishing a continuous improvement culture and community in our global Service network, define processes, standards and guidelines, and provide trainings and tools.
- Coaching and supporting team members in their projects.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in an operational excellence, business transformation or similar role
- Relevant experience in Operations and ideally in a business leadership role
- Profound expertise in Lean Management, Continuous Improvement Principles, Change Management and Project Management
- Lean Six Sigma Certification of advantage
- Experience with process digitization or other IT projects of advantage
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills
- High degree of business acumen, ability to impact and influence multiple stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills in English – written and verbal, German and any other language is considered a plus
- Available to travel up to 25% of the time, likely to be more during onboarding phase
