Swiss Transplant Cohort Study (STCS) The Swiss Transplant Cohort Study (STCS), set up as an association, is a nationwide prospective multi-center observational cohort study, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The primary objective of the STCS is to perform high-quality clinical research and outcome monitoring to ensure the quality of care for organ-recipients in all transplantation centres in Switzerland.

What you will be doing

  • Manages the finances, business and organization of the STCS as managing director
  • Implements the corporate strategy and promotes the further development of the STCS as a whole
  • Manages the Management Board
  • Responsible as head of department for the functions of finance, regulatory aspects & documentation, and management support
  • Takes up and ensures the follow-up of internal and external requests
  • Consolidates the existing organization and services

Your profile

  • Education: Higher degree in applied science with MBA in economics or comparable higher education, with Public Health knowledge
  • Experience: Several years of management experience, preferably in the financial management of an overall organization in the Public Health or Human Research sector. Proven track record in implementing change situations
  • Advantage: Reporting and/ or own research activities in the field of public health
  • Very good communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of English and German (spoken and written), French is an advantage
