BRAC Global is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill the following position:
Head of Global Project Coordination, BRAC Global Resources & Partnerships
Reporting to the Senior Director, the new Head of Global Project Coordination is a key member of the Global team responsible for keeping a real-time overview of all Projects delegated to BRAC Bangladesh, BRAC International, BRAC USA and BRAC UK through the Partnership Committee under the umbrella of the Global Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Strategy. They will also directly manage select coordinated workstreams (hereafter referred to as Projects) within the GRMPS to achieve Resource Mobilisation, Partnership and Grant Management goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers project management support to Senior Director, Global Resources & Partnership by coordinating the GRMPS delivery process through developing, managing and monitoring the overarching GRMPS implementation plan
- Supports Partnership Committee Members with work planning, development and documentation of Project-specific implementation plans
- Provides harmonised reporting templates to support timely and synchronised reporting of achievements against Projects
- Consolidates the milestones of Projects, surfacing and fostering discussion across inter-dependent Projects
- Tracks and monitors Projects using industry best practice tools and escalates major delays, budget variances and risks to Senior Director and Partnership Committee
- Supports Senior Director to report Resource Mobilisation fundraising targets through close coordination and eventual management to data collection, data quality and data reporting team
- Participates as an active member of the Partnership Committee in the implementation of the Partnership Committee Terms of Reference
- Supports Senior Director to create and deliver presentations and strategy updates that communicate key Project findings and recommendations
- Manages and schedule meetings for the Partnership Committee and serves as a point of contact and content resource in areas pertaining to the progress of GRMPS
- Confidently leads meetings and drives conversations towards discrete actions/next steps to drive forward Project objectives and overcome barriers
- Within directly-managed Projects, ensures that staff, consultants and partners are kept on track to produce deliverables and objectives
- Works with BRAC Global Executive Director, Senior Director and Partnership
- Committee to articulate new Projects and write project documents: business cases; presentations, ToRs, strategy documents, guidelines
- Supports with information repositories for the GRP function and transition of practices for information management
- Writes reports / presents Project highlights at internal meetings and forums, as needed;
- Manages or supports Projects that support the fundraising infrastructure of OneBRAC which may include:
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) Design and Implementation – Salesforce platform
- Strategy development of fundraising entrance to new geographies such as Asia or the Middle East.
- Lead revision of relevant standard operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Safeguarding
- Establish a safeguarding culture across all levels of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Undergraduate degree in any relevant discipline
- Master’s Degree or Project Management Certification is preferred
Required Competencies:
- Passionate about leadership development and building networks in the international development or philanthropic sectors
- Ability to manage and prioritise across multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to distill complicated issues into clear recommendations
- Able to navigate competing stakeholder interests, comfortable with ambiguity and complex systems process
- Enjoys working in matrix-teams and contributing to a team environment and willing to take on leadership opportunities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills in Google and/or Microsoft platform
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in a project management role within an analytical environment or consulting practice
- Experience in the development sector in a coordination or support role
- Experience in utilising global systems and databases such as a CRM
