Head of Global Logistics

As Head of Global Logistics, you’ll be delivering a wide logistics strategy and will lead and develop the Global Logistics Team to ensure that both Tearfund’s International work and its UK based functions are supported with a dynamic, strategic, high quality and cost effective logistics service.

You will manage a global team to ensure effective performance and a high standard of service; develop procedures that mitigate against key risks; monitor compliance and support programmes, as well as oversee procurement for the UK teams and the roll out of a global procurement system. You will need to understand the complexities of working across different contexts, have strong influencing abilities and be able to offer great flexibility while holding to logistics principles.

Educated to degree level you will have a qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience. You will have substantial experience of logistics management, in difficult operating environments, and the ability to develop and implement strategy and resource plans.

This role can be based in any Country where Tearfund is registered and able to employ staff.

Salary will be dependent on location.
