This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Head of Claims to join an exciting new project which will have an international breath across multiple European countries.

Headquartered in Malta, the Head of Claims will be designing and implementing the Motor Claims department in an Agent of an Insurance Company with scope across multiple EU countries. This is a rare opportunity to set up a new structure from the foundations up including building a new team based in Malta and in the other European branches of the Group.

After an initial planning phase using your deep knowledge, insight and analysis skills of the European countries involved, the Head of Claims will be focus on recruiting and managing one of the largest international team of claims agents spread in various different countries within this newly created entity.

You will:

• Be a strategic leader and visionary. Setting the tone and defining the shape of the Claims function from the ground up
• Develop and implement the structures and processes of the organization for the efficient management of the different types of claims
• Manage the Motor Claims Department (end customers and fleets) including the different teams within the department.
• Manage a large team of agents located in different countries
• Coordinate and communicate with the senior leadership team across all departments, including: Sales, Policy Administration, Billing, D&A.
• Refine and optimize to drive success through setting KPIs and ensure the departments meet them
• Coordinate the engagement and interaction with third party suppliers in claims management: property damage adjusters, medical specialists, repair networks, legal firms, Assistance and Legal Defense Companies.

Skills / Experience:

· At least 3 years` experience as a Claims Manager, Head of Claims

· Experience within the insurance sector ideally gained in international organisation

· Strong track record in managing remote teams spread in different locations

· English and an additional language between Italia, Spanish or German is a big plus
