The following is a brief description of the role.

Generic responsibilities (max 10)

These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.

  1. Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  1. Implement delegated Support portfolio according to plan of action
  2. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  3. Ensure proper filing of documents
  4. Promote and share ideas for technical improvement
  5. Able to report and security/ non-security report immediately.

    • Experience from working as a Guard in a humanitarian/recovery context
    • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
    • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities

    Context related skills, knowledge and experience:  

    Context-related competencies are the knowledge, skills and experience required because of the context, location and/or current priorities in the role 

    • Good knowledge about the security context of Hawija and Tuz accordingly.
    • Good knowledge about the security actors in the area.
    • Proper local network.
