Robert Walters are excited to be representing a high growth, PE backed IT business who, due to continued success, are seeking a dynamic Group Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an opportunity to join dynamic business with huge growth potential within one of the fastest growing sectors.

The role:

• Preparation of monthly management accountants for the group.
• Onboarding of new acquisitions (2-3 planned per annum).
• Working closely with the Financial Controller in the implementation a new finance system.
• Preparation of annual budgets at a practise and consolidated level.
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
• Act as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Provide accurate balance sheet & bank reconciliations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the group’s accounting records and financial systems.
• Complete VAT returns for the group.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects such as the development of finance business processes and supporting projects.

The successful individual:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience of accounts preparation from practice would be desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting systems/processes and best practices.
• High attention to detail, completeness and reconciliation of information.
• The ability to work effectively within a high growth, fast changing business.
• Dynamic and comfortable managing various tasks at once.
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders of varying seniorities.
• Keen to join a collaborative culture who encourage office working 4 days per week.

This role requires a self-motivated and focused individual with a strong technical accounting background and the ambition to learn, develop and progress within a fast-growing PE backed IT business.

As the successful applicant you will enter a hugely varied finance position within a successful, acquisitive business looking to quadruple their revenue over the next 4 years. You will immerse yourself within a collaborative working environment, working closely with a high calibre Financial Controller who will help to facilitate your development, progression and widen your skillset. Within this business you can realistically progress to a Group Finance Manager position in circa 2 years, Group Financial Controller in 4.
