About Mercy Without Limits:

MWL is a humanitarian, advocacy, non-profit organization dedicated to working with communities in order to overcome poverty. main priorities are aimed at empowering women, youth, people with disabilities, and children by enabling them to participate in economic, social, and civil spheres. We aim to protect women, youth, people with disabilities, and children’s rights by the constitution and legislation systems.

Job Purpose

To visually communicate the mission, work, and impact of “Mercy without Limits – MWL” through innovative and compelling graphic designs that resonate with diverse audiences and enhance the organization’s brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Development & Maintenance

  • 1.1 Design and uphold the MWL brand guidelines ensuring consistent visual identity across all communication materials.
  • 1.2 Continuously innovate and suggest improvements for the brand’s visual representation.
  • 1.3 Educate the team on the best practices for using MWL’s brand elements.

2. Design Production

  • 2.1 Create visual assets for both digital and print media, including social media graphics, brochures, banners, posters, and reports.
  • 2.2 Work closely with the Media Sr. Officer to understand the design requirements for specific campaigns or projects.
  • 2.3 Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.

3. Multimedia Support

  • 3.1 Collaborate with the media team in producing videos by providing graphics, animations, and other visual elements.
  • 3.2 Ensure the visual consistency of presentations, infographics, and other visual materials.
  • 3.3 Assist in the editing of photos to ensure they align with MWL’s brand and quality standards.

4. Feedback & Revisions

  • 4.1 Incorporate feedback from the Media Sr. Officer and other stakeholders to refine designs.
  • 4.2 Ensure multiple design options are provided for major campaigns or projects.
  • 4.3 Continuously iterate on designs based on audience engagement and feedback.

5. Asset Management

  • 5.1 Organize and archive graphic assets for easy retrieval and future use.
  • 5.2 Maintain a library of commonly used icons, images, and graphics.
  • 5.3 Ensure all source files are systematically stored and backed up.

6. Stay Updated & Innovate

  • 6.1 Keep abreast of the latest design trends and technologies to ensure MWL’s graphics remain current and effective.
  • 6.2 Suggest and implement new design tools and software that can improve work efficiency.
  • 6.3 Participate in design workshops, webinars, and training to continuously hone skills.

7. Collaborate & Support

  • 7.1 Work closely with other departments to fulfill their design requirements.
  • 7.2 Support the Media Sr. Officer in conceptualizing visual campaigns or projects.
  • 7.3 Provide design inputs during team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages)

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Two years at least of the same work experience
  • Good Command of the Arabic Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Two years at least of work experience.
  • Good Command of the English Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
  • Turkish Nationals
