We are looking for a passionate Graphic Design Working Student / Intern to join our design team to jointly envision, design and build Elli’s portfolio of software services on mobile and web. At Elli you will be part of a vibrant and growing design organization while working closely with your peers from product and engineering in a culture of knowledge sharing and agile collaboration.

Your mission

• You are gaining experience on a multitude of design methods with the support from our team and exposure to design topics on a daily basis.
• You are applying your design skills, creativity and knowledge to create visual assets such as icons and illustrations for Elli’s brand.
• You are experimenting with graphics in the 4th dimension by creating simple yet engaging animations and are creating customer-facing print and digital solutions.
• You are supporting the design team by continuously improving our design guidelines, as well as automating processes.
• You are working closely with other departmentsand external partners, advocating for Elli’s design guidelines and brand identity with confidence.
• You are getting to know our product portfolio and are creating innovative solutions for our products with intuitive experiences.

Your profile

• You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in design, human-computer interaction or other relevant fields.
• You have excellent skills in Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite tools and are passionate about driving products with intuitive experiences forward.
• You have some experience and interest in motion graphics.
• You have experience in designing for print media.
• You like spending time with your peers from engineering and product to find solutions together as one team.
• You are getting stuff done! You have great organizational and analytical skills with a strong technical understanding.
• You are able to provide a brief explanation in your application as to why you are a good fit for this role, ideally while showcasing your portfolio of projects.
• You are interested in joining the team for at least 5 months, part-time as a working student or full-time as an intern.
• You have a good command of spoken and written English.

Ideally:

• You are comfortable designing (and sometimes prototyping) with tools like Figma.
• You have some experience using Blender or other 3D tools.
• You have a good command of spoken and written German.
