Grants Manager

MENTOR

The MENTOR Initiative is a discrete and agile humanitarian organisation purpose built to relieve human suffering from tropical diseases. We act in some of the world’s most austere and vulnerable communities, who are often devastated and forgotten. The MENTOR Initiative is currently providing ongoing emergency support to the most vulnerable communities in Mozambique, Angola, Kenya, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Chad, and Syria.

The MENTOR Initiative is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and skilled Grants Manager to be based at our HQ in Hayward’s Heath, UK and potentially deployed to one of our country programmes. The role will see you assist with the overall management of the organisations country and training programmes covering finance and administration, development of country level systems, management of country level audits, plus others as needed. You will be entrusted with the critical task of supporting the organisation to achieve its objectives in programme grant/award administration in line with The MENTOR Initiative guidance/guidelines. Travel to the relevant programmes will be required as well as fluent English. French/Spanish/Italian or Portuguese as a second language would be a distinct advantage.

If you think you may have the energy and all that it takes to help lead life saving teams in conflict settings and natural disasters, or those countries recovering from these, and you still have capacity to learn new skills every day, then please contact us and send us your CV and a letter explaining why you are the person that we should be seeking to join our dynamic management team. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
