The Program

Funded by the Australian Government, the Incentive Fund Phase 4 (IF4) aims to attract, identify and incentivize high performing organisations to expand the reach, coverage and quality of their contribution to service delivery and/or economic development in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Projects funded over the life of the IF4 include the building and redevelopment of markets, primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, technical centres, health centres, hospitals and laboratories.

Tetra Tech International Development is the managing contractor for the Incentive Fund and is seeking an experienced Grants Coordinator to join the team. This full-time role will be located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, with an immediate start available.

The Position

The Grants Coordinator is responsible for providing overall coordination of the systems, processes, procedures and administration of the IF4 grant award and grant project management process known as “Incentive Fund Agreement” management. The Grants Coordinator will also provide program support to the IF4 Development Specialists and the IF4 Management Team.

The Person

The Grants Coordinator will have substantial grants management and/or project management experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting will be highly regarded as will experience in grants database management, project minute taking and secretariat support duties and the mainstreaming of gender and social inclusion issues.

An understanding of project risk management, technical compliance, audit and value for money approaches is essential.

We seek a self-driven and dynamic candidate who is proficient in database processes, systems, procedures and tools, as well as strong inter-personal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and service providers.
