About Horan Foundation.

HORAN FOUNDATION is a Syrian-focused non-profit organization working in Syria and countries of asylum with no discrimination. through emergency interventions, meeting their basic needs, and implementing highly competent community development programs.
HORAN FOUNDATION was established with the escalation of the Syrian crisis at the beginning of 2012 in Jordan and registered in Turkey in2014 and Switzerland in 2016, where it started as a group of friends to provide emergency humanitarian assistance in Daraa and its countryside. Since then, HORAN FOUNDATION has developed to become one of the largest organization supporting the Syrian people, through the implementation of 350 projects that helped the lives of more than 10 million beneficiaries throughout the Syrian territory and neighboring countries of asylum, and also contributed to the establishment of the Platform of Syrian Associations (Minber Suriye), one of the most important coordination platforms for humanitarian workers in the Syrian affairs. It has the membership of the NGO Forum and membership in Syrian Networks and membership in the Forum for the Voice of the displaced Syrians.

Position Summary.

The Grants and Partnership Manager key position supporting the Syria Program. With the overall objective of achieving high quality and compliant programming, the main goal of this position is to ensure effective sub-grants management and due diligence with sub-award partners and build strong, sustainable partners, will coordinate the daily management of the sub- award lifecycle and invest in the sustainable growth and capacity for the Syria portfolio. And he/she is responsible for leading and ensuring quality programs/projects design, development and reporting efforts and the relations with the partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Be instrumental in developing strategic partnerships with institutional donors, INGOs, UN agencies, and other stakeholders.
  2. Lead the program/project proposals development process, with an ambition to seek medium to large multi-year funding opportunities for integrated sustainable programming.
  3. Lead development of grant management system in accordance with Horan’s organization system.
  4. Act as the main point of contact regarding grants with donor field offices.
  5. Conduct regular coordination meetings with donor field offices and report information to the supervisor.
  6. Develop and manage proposal and report development calendar.
  7. Review the grant documents and advise the senior management on donor compliances, policies, and procedures as relevant and required.
  8. Lead the development of all grant reports, narrative and financial and share with headquarters CEO for review 72 hours before deadlines.
  9. Hold regular meetings to review grants status with headquarters grants team.
  10. Perform other duties and assignments as required by the direct supervisor.
  11. Developing the Grants section annual operational plan and tracking its implementation.
  12. Represents Horan in all relevant in relation to the position duties, e.g. , NGOs, donors.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business management. or any related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Grants & Partnerships management
  • Fluency written and spoken in (Arabic& English)
