Fashion Workie

The PR Intern will craft and pitch newsworthy stories to secure press coverage for Carl Friedrik in relevant online and print publications. You will be tasked with building relationships with journalists, reporting on media coverage and ultimately raising brand awareness in key markets.

This is no ordinary internship. From day one, you will have significant responsibilities, work directly with the founders and marketing team, and ultimately have a direct impact on the company’s success. The role is for those that like a challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Support with day-to-day PR activities (press outreach, building relationships with journalists)
  • Write press releases to announce company news and secure media exposure
  • Build targeted media lists
  • Liaise with our two external PR agencies
  • Report weekly and monthly on coverage, impact and progress
  • Explore and scale new PR opportunities (affiliate publishing, PPC publishing)
  • Work directly with the founders, playing a key role in shaping Carl Friedrik’s growth strategy

We’re looking for a talented and highly motivated candidate to join our small, high-powered team.

  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal) are integral to this role. You will communicate frequently with the press and our PR partners, and write various types of content (press releases, email pitches, reports).

Experience

  • You have completed a degree in PR, communications, marketing, fashion or a related field from a top university.
  • You have relevant graduate or internship experience to demonstrate your skills
