Summary:

Governance Assurance & Auditing Manager is responsible for leading, directing, evaluating, and developing audit professionals to ensure that Finance Governance Assurance & Audit activities are conducted at high standards of accuracy and credibility according to the company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and performing operational and financial audits on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Identifying business process risks.
  • Developing testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of financial controls.
  • Documenting the results of the evaluations.
  • Developing recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to senior management.
  • Formulating professional development and educational plans for junior staff members.
  • Planning and allocating resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules.
  • Utilize KPMG’s Audit Methodology.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients.
  • Work with other managers to help ensure the proper deployment of the audit staff and assist with the career development of team members.
  • Manage client accounts including billing, fee analysis and new service development.
  • Research technical accounting issues.
  • Identifying business process risks.

Work Experience:

5-10 years of work experience in relevant field.

Education:

Bachelor or Master in Finance, Business Management, or related field.

Language:

  • Arabic (preferred)
  • English (required)
  • Kurdish (required)
