Graduate Sourcing based in Ismaning (near Munich, Germany) to help shaping the future at Essity.

What You Will Do

At Essity, we see graduates as playing an important role in challenging the status quo, driving change, and making a positive impact on the business and on hygiene and health globally. As GO! Graduate Sourcing, you will gain experience of the complete Source to Pay process at Essity, including how we secure sustainability requirements with our suppliers. Based on your previous experiences you will be involved in and learn more about various aspects of daily sourcing work, such as:

• Support and drive digitalization (e.g. tools) related to ongoing sourcing work
• Provide analyses and input to the continuous reporting and decision making
• Execution of operational sourcing activities either at our office or potentially German production sites
• Execution of strategic sourcing activities in collaboration with Global or Regional Sourcing manager
• Participate and gain understanding about sustainable sourcing and defined environmental and social/ethical requirements on suppliers
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions
• Communicate information to different stakeholders
• Ensure collaboration and information flow across multiple businesses and stakeholders

Who You Are

• You have at least a Bachelor degree in a commercial field (or industrial engineering) completed at program start
• You have maximum 24 months of work experience after graduation. Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships in industry is an advantage.
• You have an excellent level of English, good skills in German, in addition French would be an advantage
• You have an international mindset from working and/or studying abroad and an interest in collaborating with people from different cultures
• You have a willingness to travel and relocate if needed (e.g. for a rotational period)
• You have an interest in developing and leading yourself, a curiosity to learn new things and an ability to inspire people to achieve things together. With your solution-oriented approach you are eager to make a difference and have the courage to act on own ideas.
• You are a great networker and communicator who thrives in a changing environment. You have a strong learning agility and ability to adapt to change.

Please note that while it is a 2 year program, your contract is permanent! The GO! Program provides a real job with real responsibilities and an individual development plan to give you a strong foundation to drive your development and career within Essity. The GO! Program is based on relevant tasks, clear responsibilities and specific learning goals. This will provide participants with a deep understanding of the Essity global organization, processes and tools, develop functional as well as leadership competencies while simultaneously delivering concrete results to the business.
