We respect and value all our staff, because we know that it takes a strong and diverse workforce to maintain the kind of success we’ve achieved.
Our award-winning research is celebrated around the world, and we’re proud of our strategic partnerships. It’s all down to the ability of our people to shape, create and innovate, in whatever capacity they work with us. Our continued success — underpinned by the number of prestigious national awards we’ve won — has hinged on two commitments: creating excellent global collaborations, and harnessing the talents of all our people.
NTU is a university at the peak of its powers, but we know we can still go even further. Join us in our mission to become ‘the university of the future’ — seize the challenge and adventure of working with an organisation where progress never stops. This is your career, reimagined.
Nottingham Trent University’s strategic vision focuses on creating the University of the Future (www.ntu.ac.uk/strategy). We intend to transform the lives of our students and through them the world in which we live. Focused on five key themes, our strategy builds on the institution’s existing strengths and sets a framework for excellence that will drive further impact for the benefit of all of its communities.
In order to achieve our ambition of ‘Connecting Globally’, NTU Global is responsible for managing the key functions of internationalisation including student exchange, international partnerships and optimising the global student experience for all students.
Within the NTU Global office, we are offering a temporary opportunity to work with us as the Global Student Experience Administrator at the Clifton Global Lounge until 20 March 2023. The focus of this role is to manage the day-to-day running of the Clifton Global Lounge, and to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Global Student Experience team. The post holder will also assist the Global Student Experience Coordinator to plan, coordinate and run a range of activities to enhance the global student experience and promote integration between international and home students at Clifton Campus and across NTU. The role will also support the organisation of the international strand of Welcome programme and our annual Global Week celebration at Clifton Campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with administrative experience to gain experience and knowledge about NTU’s international work. You will have strong administrative abilities, excellent team working and organisational skills, and a good awareness of the issues and concerns facing international students.
