A career within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You’ll be engaged in projects dealing with International tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.

The Global Social Security (GSS) team has rapidly grown and developed in the past few years. The GSS team provides social security compliance and consulting services to a wide range of clients. The client base includes financial services, consumer goods, oil and gas and technology companies, allowing you to gain a broad range of experience in different industry sectors.

You will need a good understanding of UK, EU and Global social security legislation in order that you are able to both review complex social security applications and provide technical advice to a range of clients on the impact of global assignments, business travel and remote working including providing presentations of the impact of social security.

You will be involved in the management and training of our compliance and coordination team, including implementing process efficiencies and technology solutions.

You will have the opportunity to work across other workstreams, ensuring social security logic is correctly implemented and understood in wider propositions and be part of technology developments both in GSS and more widely.

We are a global team so you will need to think from a global mindset and collaborate closely with our GSS network, building a strong network and contributing regularly to our global working group.

You will be coaching and managing junior members of the team to support their learning and development through the firm, including those based in our Acceleration Centre in Katowice, Poland.

You will support business growth through managing and delivering business development activities such as proposals and bids, as well as identifying opportunities with new and existing clients
