Responsibilities

  • Establish a Global PM team of regional Segment managers that provide strategic direction for the segment and collaboratively develop the 5-year Strategic Product Plan for the Commercial Transportation Aftermarket Global Product Portfolio. Requires cross functional and cross business unit collaboration with commercial, technology, supply chain and operations teams to develop a lean CTAM platform based portfolio.
  • Execute Segment global strategic direction and key PM initiatives through guidance to regional & country organizations.
  • Develop and Execute EMEA Refinish and CTAM Aftermarket Product Strategies for EMEA in alignment with global strategic direction via guidance to regional & country teams in EMEA.
  • Follow-up of execution of segment, product & business initiatives within the regions.
  • Drive Segment Critical KPI’s through Country and Regional Organizations (% of Sales on APL for the Segment)
  • Collect market & technical input from regional PM and Business organizations via CTAM Product Portfolio Reviews in each region and develop the Global CTAM Product Plan based on these inputs.
  • Establish overview, knowledge & understanding of the customer segment regarding product-technical-color and process aspects of the Axalta CTAM offering.
  • Understand competitive landscape and market drivers within the segment.
  • Define segment related opportunities and business cases, within the Product Strategies as defined by the Platform managers / E2E Product Marketing Managers.
  • Drive Simplification of the offering for the segment by aligning APL’s and executing growth plans from lean product platforms.
  • Overall responsible for the Refinish CTAM segment offering in alignment with the Brand positioning as defined by Marketing.
  • Liaise with OEMs, Axalta Key account, Commercial, SC/Ops and Technical teams to provide required support.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Refinish and or Commercial Transportation paint usage. Preferred experience in coating companies.
  • Good product knowledge on CTAM paints, their application and performance and commercial aspects.
  • Understands customer processes and competitive situation.
  • Ability to drive, analyze and make data driven segment management decisions.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis (NPV, IRR, GM) to manage product portfolio.
  • Ability to Lead cross functional projects and get appropriate buy in to do the work needed to successfully meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct cross functional business development projects via disciplined use of gated project management processes and incorporate learning’s from the post launch review as continuous process improvement.
  • Track record of leading projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, networking ability and team building capability.
