Opportunity:

The Global Mobility and Recruitment Officer will support R4D’s fast-paced, full-life cycle recruitment team, supporting headquarters, country offices, and new business recruitment. This position will partner with the Global Human Resources team to manage and ensure a smooth transition from the first email as a candidate to the transition into the organization as an employee. The Global Mobility and Recruitment Officer will identify, evaluate, and screen candidates who meet the required area of expertise and who will advance R4D’s mission and values. They will lead and manage R4D’s internship program, school outreach and external career fairs.

As a member of R4D’s Global HR team, the Global Mobility and Recruitment Officer is responsible for the administration and communication of R4D’s global work eligibility policies and procedures. They will be integral in all aspects of international assignments and relocation in all countries that R4D operates, including international compensation, benefits and immigration, and will work with the Human Capital team, finance, and local country teams to ensure efficient and safe placements of R4D staff. The position will serve as R4D’s subject matter expert and lead on work and residency authorizations, both domestic and international, in order to ensure cost effective, compliant and practical mobility solutions linked to R4D’s talent strategy.

A successful Global Mobility and Recruitment Officer will be highly-motivated; a creative problem solver; have strong analytical, communication, planning and organizing, and collaboration skills; and have a commitment to excellence and producing results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruitments for entry, early, and mid-career positions
  • Generate and update offer letter templates according to work conditions and labor laws
  • Collaborate with HR Officer and Data Analyst to ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new hires
  • Maintain and update data in the ATS and general Recruitment knowledge databases
  • Research new advertising opportunities for job postings, both domestic and international, in order to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
  • Promote and adhere to R4D’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) by ensuring an open, transparent, fair and inclusive recruitment process following DEI best practices
  • Help draft, revise, and update recruitment tools, marketing materials, documents, and presentations
  • Manage R4D’s internship program and serve as primary POC for all school outreach, site visits and relationships
  • Serve as subject-matter expert and HR focal point for work and residency authorizations, and other immigration matters, both domestic and international
  • Provide consultancy services/advice and collaborative support regarding the interpretation and execution of R4D’s international assignment policies and practices
  • Work with various departments/teams to design efficient coordination of all aspects of international assignments including relocation, repatriation, expense reimbursement, onboarding, etc.
  • Help calculate cost projections for international assignment compensation packages
  • Prepare employee assignment and relocation letters
  • Monitor and manage vendor accounts
  • Participates fully as a member of R4D by contributing, assisting, and participating in activities, initiatives and other duties as requested by R4D management

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree +5 years relevant experience or a master’s degree +3 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, screening, and full-cycle recruitment in both domestic and international markets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with hiring managers
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Experience developing budgets, tracking and managing resources, and/or supporting recruitment and program management efforts
  • Previous experience with work and residency authorizations, and other immigration matters, both domestic and international is preferred
  • Strategic and creative problem solver who is adept at developing efficient systems and decision-making processes
  • Highly collaborative and approachable team member who is enthusiastic about supporting the team and providing superb customer service to other internal departments
  • Critical thinker, able to identify issues and opportunities, provide solutions, and reach consensus with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complicated and detailed data to hiring managers
  • Ability to negotiate in a positive manner while ensuring a fair, equitable and transparent process for all new hires
  • Skilled at and creative with the visual display of data
  • High proficiency using MS Office Suite including EXCEL
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects and work streams with competing time/resource demands
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and enthusiastic about joining a diverse and inclusive work environment
