Job Description/Responsibilities
The Global Head of DTC/.com will lead Sazerac Online Direct to Consumer Business across all e-shops and branded websites globally,,developing from the strategy to go-to-market activation across markets with the goal of placing Sazerac as Global Leading DTC company within the Spirits Industry.
- Lead a team of direct reports in charge of Digital Experiences, Digital Operations, Web Development and Go-to-Market Digital Activations.
- Partner with Global Head of E-Merchandising & Digital Shelf to prepare global briefs and direction for E-Content master creation with “The Shop” (Sazerac Creative Team). Guide Merchandisers on syndication and implementation. Partner with IT, Logistics and Customer Affairs to ensure a seamless and integrated approach across all DTC operations.
- Guide Global E-Business & Digital Analyst to leverage data, track KPIs and build comprehensive reporting to understand DTC sales performance, ROI of our investments and online shoppers’ preferences and behaviors. Assess the latest e-commerce technologies, tools, and trends, implementing innovations that enhance Sazerac’s DTC/.com capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain the highest standards of data security and customer privacy in partnership with Legal team. Manage DTC MarTech partners, budget, governance and ways of working with your direct team and IT/Technology team.
- Enhance the online customer journey by improving site functionality, user experience, and personalized shopping experiences. Build with Homeplaces team omnichannel experiences connecting .COM with brand physical stores. Implement innovative online brand experiences, services and assortment differentiation ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Develop DTC strategy, USP and value differentiation, with input from Brands and Homeplaces team (in charge of our physical brand stores). Build go-to-market activation and revenue growth through commercial calendars, performance media, customer acquisition and retention program.
- Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to improve skills and performance utilizing PDS as tool to conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress. Support the widespread use of PDS and promote and support Company culture within Sazerac.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6 to 8 years relevant experience
- A strong blend on DTC business strategy online and MarTech expertise.
- Demonstrable expertise developing for Global brands winning DTC strategies, USP and value differentiation vs. Retail.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in a global e-commerce environment.
- Solid expertise enhancing customer experience integrating .COM with physical stores building qualified audiences and leveraging 1st party data.
- Proven track record with E-Commerce Platforms, MarTech and CRM systems. Experience with major solutions is mandatory (i.e., Adobe, Salesforce).
- Mastery in managing internal stakeholders and extensive experience leading people through influence, where no direct reporting relationship exists.
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, & project management skills
- Valid Passport
- Ability to travel (up to 15%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Spirits, Beverage or FMCG.
- Complementary experience leading Online Retail a plus as per synergies with Global Online Retail team.
