1. Purpose of the role:
We are looking for an Intern to strengthen our Global Planning team.
2. What will you do?
- Support Planning team in their daily work by collecting data, analyzing performance and developing potential solutions to problems that arise.
- Depending on your location in the organization, you will learn:
- how to plan the flow of products between hubs, distribution centers and markets
- how to work with suppliers to plan production and manage product availability challenges
- You will understand how to control key planning indicators by proposing process improvements
- You will have the opportunity to work closely with other teams and market representatives internationally
- Program the correct configuration of basic data and parameters in the supply chain system (Blue Yonder)
- You will learn to anticipate threats and risks by preparing action plans as a team
- Analyze complex data and prepare detailed reports and summaries
- Support the optimization of shipments (order creation) in order to achieve the CO2 reduction targets
3. Your background and your qualifications:
- Students on their 3-5 year of studies or graduates in relevant fields of study: Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Production / Engineering / Management / Economics / Statistics
- Fluent knowledge of the English language is essential
- Very good Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- A dynamic and motivated person
- Experience in JDA Fulfillment, SAP APO or DRP / MRP (distribution / material resource planning) is an asset
