Global Data Analyst Statutory & Compliance

The purpose of the role is to provide a wide range of data analysis and support activities to the Global Statutory & Compliance (S&C) team. Transactional finance processing in the ERP SAP Business by Design (ByD) is done by the Finance Shared Service Center (SSC). Local accounting and tax compliance is done by an outsourced provider based on accurate data in ByD. The global S&C team needs to respond to data queries from the outsourced provider as well as local auditors. The global data analyst provides the local and area teams with analysis, insight and support with all type of data queries. This also includes the preparation of standard reports needed for local statistics reporting and other ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and support statutory and compliance team with data requests and analysis.
• Perform data analysis, spot and investigate trends, resolve issues
• Use data to recommend and evidence for improvement areas
• Prepare reports and analysis for different purposes: reporting, auditors, outsourced providers
• Other tasks assigned by the line manager

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum bachelors degree in a relevant subject (IT, business, technical)
• Very strong data analysis skills. Expert Excel and ERP systems knowledge, SAP is advantageous
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Self-starter, detailed-oriented, responsible, and willing to take initiatives
• Strong communication skills. Good written and spoken English
