EMEA Recruitment is working with our global manufacturing client in its search for a Global Accounting Lead Transfer Pricing and Cost Sharing.
This role is well suited to someone with a passion for process optimization, automation and robotics within Finance.
The main objectives for this role are to monitor and ensure global compliance of the Transfer Pricing policies relating to intercompany sale of goods and to maintain a centralized automated process for pricing of intercompany sale of goods, while managing the impact on other Tax and Accounting-related processes.
Responsibilities of the Global Accounting Lead Transfer Pricing and Cost Sharing include:
- Identify and implement process and automation improvements
- Implementing Transfer Pricing policies set by Tax department relating to intercompany sale of goods
- Monitor global compliance of Transfer Pricing policies
- Identify deviations with policy and in consultation with the Tax department, take appropriate measures/corrective actions
- Assist to substantiate the adherence to the policy to tax authorities in the event of a corporate income tax or customs audit
- Assist to substantiate to the Auditors the uncertain tax position relating to Transfer Pricing for intercompany sale of goods
- Act as the Accounting business partner for Tax lead Transfer Pricing
- Responsible for maintaining the (partially) automated Transfer Pricing (RPA) process for the pricing of intercompany sale of goods
- Managing further improvements to the centralized robotics process automation process for Transfer Pricing price setting
- Change management and communication management to the various stakeholders
- Responsible for centralizing the build-up of control documentation relating to cost sharing
- As a next step, look at the centralization of the Transfer Pricing local file preparation process
Experience required:
- Accounting and/or Tax professional with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Tax and/or Financial Reporting, and capable of analyzing complex processes and issues
- A master’s degree in Finance
- Working experience in multiple businesses, and experienced with Transfer Pricing and cost sharing topics and processes
- Good analytical skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Hands-on mentality related to financial systems (SAP/HFM) and operational processes, and eager to learn about RPA potential
- Strong communication and social skills for communication to current and future stakeholders
- Have a continuous improvement mindset and eager to drive change
- Resourceful – self-starter, and ability to bring solutions and suggestions
