Indigo Volunteers
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a difference to join our team as general volunteers. As a general volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of our work in the field, including assisting in a warehouse, helping out in a free shop, or volunteering in a community kitchen.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in a warehouse by sorting and checking donations, running distributions, and organizing deliveries
- Help out in a free shop by collecting donated goods and sorting them, welcoming visitors, and distributing clothes, food, and non-food items
- Volunteer in a community kitchen by cooking delicious meals for those in need
Requirements:
- Available for a minimum of 2 weeks
- Minimum age of 18
- No specific skills or qualifications are required, besides high motivation and the ability to communicate in English
- Interest in logistics and/or a driving license are welcomed
There is an opportunity to also do this as an internship in the field. Accommodation is not provided for free, but it may be subsidised depending on the length of the stay.
Please note that Indigo and its partners are unable to support you in obtaining a visa. You should only apply if you can obtain your visa independently.
