General Ledger Associate (Hungarian Speaker)

What will you do

• Execute GL postings with prepared Journal Vouchers for local GAAP/ IFRS, analyse source documentation and execute IFRS and recurring GL postings independently
• Perform IC reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement as well as perform IC adjustment postings, run period end closing activities for complex companies
• Upload the figures into the financial system (Tagetik) and solve validation errors, reconcile the financial reporting system (Tagetik) with SAP Fi
• Communicate efficiently with customer i.e. Accounting Business Partner as well as Centres of Competence Tax, Consolidation and Controlling and other departments within EBS and Business, settle and escalate GL issues of one or more entities
• Prepare data according to internal/ external audit requests

How do you know you are the right fit

• Education / Training:
• University degree with proven ability in relevant subjects (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Studies)
• Professional Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, regulations and procedures, IFRS and/ or local GAAP
• Experience in General Ledger accounting process in similar, multi-national, corporate environment, accounting experience required
• Languages:
• Hungarian & English (advanced, written and spoken)
