Self Aware Games is looking for Game Engineers! You’ll be working with other passionate engineers across multiple layers of the application stack to create awesome features our players will love. We currently have two highly successful casino apps that we’ve built from the ground up. We’ll be starting on a brand new game with cutting edge graphics using Unity. Our current tech stack is JavaScript on top of a customized Cocos-2dx engine. You’ll interface directly with other engineers, artists, and product designers to craft and release new features and games.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with a team of engineers, artists, designers, and QA to deliver exciting new content and outstanding user experiences in our best-in-class social casino apps
• Release content every sprint and get immediate feedback from players as well as in-depth metrics on how your content is being used

Requirements

You are:

• An excellent critical thinker and problem solver, with demonstrated coding and analytical skills;
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter who’s excited to bring engaging content to our players.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
• 3+ years professional experience in software development;
• 2+ years of proficiency in JavaScript;
• Experience with the entire development lifecycle from gathering requirements to launching.

Bonus Points:

• Working knowledge of PHP;
• Working knowledge of Cocos2d;
• Experience programming for mobile devices on iOS and/or Android preferred.
