Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time dentist for a thriving Federally Qualified Healthcare Facility (FQHC) that is experiencing a high demand for dental services. The facility currently has only one dentist and is eager to expand its dental team. The center is open four days a week, with the option for flexible work hours. They are open to providing a variety of procedures based on the dentist’s comfort and expertise. The facility has a supportive and collaborative environment, making it an ideal opportunity for both experienced dentists and new graduates.
Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures
- Optional opportunity to work outside of the community health center, including a mobile dental unit that visits schools and nursing homes
Location:
The facility is located in Mena, an outdoor paradise. Situated near Lake Ouachita, the third clearest lake in the U.S., Mena offers numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting in its many parks and trails. With its small-town charm and friendly southern hospitality, Mena provides an excellent quality of life.
Salary And Benefits
- Starting salary of $175,000 per year with incentives

Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
- State license to practice dentistry
- CPR certification
- Proven experience working in a dental practice
- Proficiency in using dental instruments and equipment
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good hand-eye coordination
