Join Axpo Hydro’s Data Analytics team consisting of product manager, data engineer and data scientists to build our software products for the hydropower industry. In this role, you take responsibility and enjoy the freedom and flexibility to introduce and implement your own ideas and solutions.

What you will do

• You are able to quickly prototype and develop applications across the full spectrum (from frontend over APIs to databases)
• You will build software products that enable customers to make great decisions based on insights generated by our data scientists
• You will identify and solve arising performance challenges
• You participate in design and code reviews

What you bring & who you are

• You bring at least 3-5 years of experience of developing in a production system
• You have an in-depth knowledge of JavaScript (preferably react)
• You are familiar with python server-side web frameworks (e.g. django and/or FastAPI)
• You are experienced with testing, containers and continuous deployment
• You have good taste for software architecture, API design and code
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus
