Apply via Dice today!Title Senior Full Stack Developer Job Type Fulltime Primary Location Remote The Challenge Our client, a Healthcare Company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (FAST) who will be responsible for working on the FAST-Engineering team in launching a new self-serve platform for our customers and build this new product (FAST) due to an increased demand from our customers and as an initiative to automate efforts. Duties and Responsibilities Build and scale company’s infrastructure to work with several enterprise clients. Build well-designed, high performance and effective front-end web applications that support complex business rulesflows. Leverage experience to establish best practices for web development and drive the team and the codebase to a higher level. Perform Application Solution Design and work with Enterprise Solution Architect, business, product, and UX team members to influence the application data-flow design and extensible product platform architecture. Product engineer and collaborate with various business functions and translate business requirements into simple user stories in partnership with the engineering lead and other developers on the team. Write frontend code and build UI to implement new features using Javascript framework, including taking in data from our API, structuring that data, and displaying it. Develop back end for front end API on Python. Work to improve company’s platform to deliver features quickly with high reliability and scalability. Writemaintain documentation for the client and other team members. Apply user experience methodology and best practices to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging user-centered design. Pioneer new frontend initiatives and championing them to the rest of the frontend team. Act as a subject matter expert for quality assurance and ensure that we are building and releasing high-quality products. Essential Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields of study plus at least 5 years of experience in the job offered or at least 5 years of experience in a Software Developer or related role. In lieu of the Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields of study, plus at least 3 years of experience in the job offered or at least 3 years of experience in a Software Developer or related role. Must have at least 5 years of experience (3 years of experience if in possession of a Master’s degree) with o building and scaling applications in Python and JavaScript o leading software development teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design, and performance testing o IT Implementation and project management experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agileiterative methodologies o Configuration management using Circle CI, Jenkins, Cloud Formation, and Chef o OOP, design patterns, algorithms and data structures o database design, data warehousing, and data layer including NOSQL, caching strategies, and storage alternatives o service-based application architectures and relevant API protocols o working in open source environment with knowledge of AWS and its services.
