FTI is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to join our team during the summer of 2023. Qualified candidates must be willing to obtain a Secret Clearance and report onsite to the Surface Warfare Schools Command center in Newport, RI. • Responsibilities Include: Interns would learn to develop Navy Surface Warfare curriculum that can be delivered across a number of modalities including live in an instructor-led class and asynchronously. The focus for this internship will be on honing training development techniques that translate in both a Navy learning center as well as the civilian world as the Navy transitions to a ready, relevant learning environment.
• Solid understanding of developing curriculum, learning, or development processes.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems like Adobe Captivate.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Must be a Junior or Senior pursing a bachelors or master’s degree from an accredited institution in a STEM, Business, or Education discipline .
