We are „the Airbnb for campers“. Wild camping, but legal? With VanSite, campers book natural sites directly with private individuals who offer/share their piece of land via app and web. This way, we create a legal alternative for those who want to experience the feeling of wild camping – flexible, independent and close to nature. Since 2020, we have already created unforgettable moments for thousands of campers.
Tasks
Your role
- Frontend and backend
- Independent creation of new functions
- Optimization of existing functions
- Creating new features to optimize, improve and extend the platform
- Connecting new SaaS applications to the platform ( API’s, REST, SDK’s )
- Creating unit tests
- Writing code documentation
- Developing and building a common workflow for collaboration
About You
Requirements
- At least 1 – 2 years of professional experience in the field of web development
- Optional: a university degree or a completed training in the IT sector
- Knowledge of the following technologies/libraries/frameworks and approaches:Node.js, npm, yarn, express, React.js, redux, jest, git, clean code
- High willingness to learn and the motivation to constantly develop yourself further
