Launched in 2019, Taptap is tapping into a transformative shift in global finance: from banks to phones. The Role

We’re looking for an FP&A Manager who can lead as a financial partner across Taptap Send, providing teams with a deeper understanding of their impact and developing new analysis as we scale the FP&A function. You’ll work across teams, from investigating the ROI on our growth actions to helping understand and then forecast the business plans for the next 12 months.

You’ll bring an inquisitive and curious mindset to our finances, looking to interrogate and understand our revenue and cost base, and bring a genuine interest in understanding the numbers to tell the story. If you are looking for a new challenge in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment, with a desire to make your mark on a growing FP&A function, then this is the role for you!

This role will report to the FP&A Director.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering — Support our operational teams, from Treasury to Growth, to better understand their finances and provide them with the analysis they need to succeed
• Budgeting — Work with senior leadership to understand their goals for the next 12 months and forecast how we reach them through best-in-class modeling
• Drive commercial improvements — You’ll sweat the detail on how we spend our resources, from ensuring our partnerships support our long-term growth plans to monitoring the ROI on our Growth team spend
• Assist on projects and analyses on an ad-hoc basis — As we grow, we will continually face new challenges and opportunities, and you’ll be asked to jump in and support as needed. This could be from creating a weekly trading meeting, or supporting on quarterly board reporting to integrating new data sources into our financial analysis

Requirements

• Qualified accountant
• Previous in-house experience in a commercial finance, business partnering or FP&A role
• Strong Excel / G Sheet skills, with the ability to create robust financial models
• Strong communication skills, with experience of partnering with non-financial stakeholders
• Detail-oriented — you sweat the small stuff
• Highly organized and able to balance competing priorities, including across teams
• Desire to work in a fast paced, mission driven environment
• Experience in data manipulation (e.g SQL, Alteryx etc) and/or BI tools (e.g Mode, Looker) a bonus
