About us

Scandens is an ETH Zurich spin-off specializing in software solutions for quantifying the energy performance and climate impact of buildings and creating actionable, profitable, and 1.5°C-compliant renovation plans: fast, science-based and at scale.

We combine state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence, ingest and analyze large data set, and leverage our proprietary energy simulation engine to optimize renovation strategies for financial performance and climate compliance. Through that, we enable large real estate owners, asset managers and consultants to make optimal renovation investment decisions for their portfolio (to buy, sell or renovate a certain asset).

Key responsibilities

1. Business Development & Data Research

  • Collaborate closely with the founders to drive business growth and expansion strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify potential clients and target markets.
  • Identify relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

2. Marketing & Admin Support

  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and sales materials.
  • Maintain and update company social media profiles and website content.
  • Assist with event planning, including webinars and conferences.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing emails, and handling general office tasks.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business / related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data.
  • Excellent communication abilities and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A doer with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.

 

Big bonus points

  • Experience in business development, sales and/or data research.
  • Knowledge of the building industry and sustainability initiatives.
  • B2B SaaS experience.
  • Photography, image and video editing skills.
