A/C Electrical Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Ford electrical/sync systems to specification, air conditioning, interior and exterior trim.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and or customers.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
Qualifications
- Prior Experience with A/C Electrical
- Must be a Ford certified technician – Electrical, Trim and A/C
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership
- Reynolds/Reynolds a plus!
- Strong understanding of the service drive
- Years of experience vary per position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
