Food Security Assistant

Position Summary

ATAA is seeking Food Security Assistant . He/ She will support the Food Security and Cash Manager in the implementation of the Projects (Food, voucher, and Cash distribution). Responsible for the implementation of emergence projects and campaigns, Ensuring Compliance with standards and processes in Food and Cash Projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning, implementing, and documenting of the food security program activities for the different projects.
• Preparing, reviewing, and updating distribution plans on weekly and monthly basis.
• Review all payment documents, and M&E data and confirm the validity of all documents.
• Submitting daily updates and weekly and monthly reports to the project coordinator on the targets achieved and the progress of the project activities.
• Attend food security and cash-related meeting and provide representation as requested.
• Record and prepare minutes of meeting for staff and other meetings.
• Archiving all the project documents and meetings with the field team and other actors.
• Follow up and prepare success stories in cooperation with the field team.
• Works closely with other departments (Protection, Nutrition, finance, logistics, etc.)

Requirements and Qualifications

Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (food processing, social science, economics, agriculture etc.)
• Working experience: 0-1 years’ experience (professional) in a non-profit organization, preferably humanitarian area.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English essential.
• Computer skills: Very good (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
