Task

Core Ireland is currently seeking a Food Bank Volunteer to join the Core Team. Your efforts will make a huge difference to those in need in your local area.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, organised, have great attention to detail and enjoy working with others.

Duties Include

  • Sorting food deliveries
  • Recording food parcel requests
  • Managing stock
  • Preparing food parcels for delivery
  • Liasing with food parcel delivery drivers

About Us

Core Ireland is a community mental health charity in Navan, County Meath. We develop and deliver free mental wellbeing courses to those with lived experience, family members, and professionals that work within the mental health services. Our courses are co-produced. We act as a hub that connects with and provides services for the community. Our projects and services are available to all members of the public. Our services are strictly confidential. Core Ireland has many volunteers, with a wide range of experiences. This now includes many volunteers who are office-based or contribute remotely from all over Ireland. Each volunteer plays an essential role in Core and brings their own unique personality and qualities which in turn shapes our development.
