Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching assistant to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ infant school in Great Barr. This role will be to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism in reception. You will be required to support emotional, social and educational needs. The role would be 8:30-15:30 Monday – Friday. The child you will be working with attends school on a reduced timetable, whilst the child is in school you will support them 1:1 and in the remaining time you will provide interventions.

Teaching Assistant Job Role
This teaching assistant position is starting January 2023 and is expected to continue to the end of the academic year.
To work 1:1 with Autism
To do interventions in Reception
Build a trusting relationship with pupils
Follow school policy regarding behaviour management and safeguarding.
To work in partnership with an experienced teacher

Skills and experience required for this SEND teaching assistant role
Relevant teaching assistant qualification
Experience working in EYFS
Experience and strategies working with SEN

?150 welcome to the team bonus
?70-85 day rate which equates to up to ?16,575 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 15.38% of your day rate
