Hybrid working is available for all FinTrU employees. Role Responsibilities

Setup, oversight, and delivery of large financial crime operational engagements (Vice President)
Manager of managers (Vice President)
Management of financial crime operational project team(s)
Oversight of all people management activities including allocation of tasks and development of team members
Set clear goals and manage performance
Build and maintain a strong, effective relationship with our clients
Manage ongoing relationships and expectations of key senior stakeholders
Identify key project risks and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
Ensure clear communication of project status, key risks, dependencies, and issues
Maintain SLA standards, including quality and production
Providing detailed MI and reports to clients at agreed frequencies
Make key decisions and present to stakeholders at all levels
If a Subject Matter Expert as opposed to Manager, act as senior point of contact for complex queries from client and junior team members
Review policy and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose and accurately reflect the framework

 

Essential Experience

A minimum of four (Senior Associate) or six (Vice President) years’ experience within (or working in partnership with) an investment or retail bank, or private wealth management environment
Working knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically with regards to a Financial Crime Operations environment
Experience in managing a team, or Subject Matter Expert within a team, dealing with High-Risk customers
Strong commercial awareness gained from experience within a professional services or outsourced environment
Proven experience in undertaking direct client facing engagement

 

Desirable Experience

Strategic, operational, and technical management skills
Understanding of staff deployment and forecasting
Resource planning and budgeting
Identifying and implementing process improvement and innovation

 

Person Specification

You will need exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in your new Vice President or Senior Associate role within our Financial Crime Operations teams
Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to work without supervision
Attention to detail and high-quality standards of documentation, metrics, processes, and control environment
Organised and structured approach
Resilient in the face of pressure with an ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Focused on quality of output as well as speed of delivery
Lastly, as a vendor working directly with International Investment Banks, strong stakeholder relationship building skills will be key to your success
