Job Purpose

The FP&A Senior Analyst will support the Americas Finance department with financial and administrative tasks for corporate, wholesale and retail networks. In this role, the person will be a key finance business partner providing insightful information and analysis of various business drivers and investments that the company is making to produce meaningful reporting to top management and Global HQ.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Understand, analyze, and challenge components and processes involved in each P&L line.
  • Lead the monthly closing process, analyze accruals, review the P&L, and explain variances for the departments under its responsibility.
  • Manage requirements to Global HQ in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
  • Take part in the forecasting process by closely collaborating with various departments, organizing data in a coherent manner, and challenging information as necessary.
  • Produce monthly management reports, consolidate and analyze financial figures and KPIs, and present them in a concise manner.
  • Establish strong partnership with the departments, proactively monitoring costs vs targets, and providing support and answers on financial matters.
  • Liaise and collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile, analyze, and ensure accuracy of overall financial reporting.
  • Actively participate in on-going projects of the team and propose new relevant projects.
  • Make ad hoc analyses and presentations for the management, helping in drawing conclusions and recommending actions directed by business needs.
  • Approve invoices in multiple procurement tools, ensuring consistency with budgets and reviewing approval matrices.
  • Process and financial systems maintenance and improvements.

Skills And Competencies

  • Degree in Finance or Business required
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to deal with large amount of data, make complex analyses, and develop insights / conclusions
  • Attention to details while having the ability to step back and look at the bigger picture
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex, time sensitive and fast paced work environment
  • Entrepreneurial drive, ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Strong communication skills, ability to deliver information in a concise manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and show professionalism with sensitive information
