About the Role:

The role holder is responsible to Develop and maintain reports and files on the Accounts payable processing, and provide timely and accurate payment processing by processing accounts payable checks. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prepares all account payable and receivable transactions and records, ensure Chart of Accounts are adhered to the regulations

2. Ensures period end closing – establish and perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing

3. Records and process transactions including cash & bank control and reconciliation, fixed asset accounting and general accounting

4. Supports the manager in generate detailed 1 year plan at account level

5. Performs variance analysis to pinpoint discrepancies between forecasted and actual cost

6. Performs other duties as needed

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • A Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred as below criteria:
  1. Accounting experience, GL accrual bases.
  2. HFM system MOF Cash bases.
  3. Fixed assets.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sound negotiation skills
  • Sound planning and scheduling skills
