
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with one or more Finance functional areas (e.g., accounting, planning and budgeting, business intelligence)
- Experience with finance systems, core finance data concepts, and finance business processes
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and SQL
- Ability and willingness to take initiative and make continuous process improvements
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of financial systems, including SAP
- Effective analytical, problem solving, organization, and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills

Our team supports the growth of the EMEA Devices and Services business, acting as Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) to our business partners across Sales, Marketing, and Product. We strive to be trusted advisors to the business and responsible advocates of Google’s resources, keeping a long-term view and the bigger picture in view.
As part of the EMEA Devices and Services Business Finance team, you will be responsible for managing many of the core Finance processes that enables the day-to-day running of the EMEA Devices and Services business, including spend approvals, budget management, forecasting, and reporting.
You will bring broad financial and analytical expertise, and be able to identify and execute opportunities for process improvement, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You will partner with the EMEA Business, Sales Operations, Controllership, and Central Business Intelligence, and Data teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage the core finance processes in EMEA, including financial reporting, pricing and spend approvals, agreement reviews, month-end close activities, and variance reporting.
- Streamline financial processes to drive efficiencies for Finance and Sales teams, including developing tools and data infrastructure as needed.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve existing reporting infrastructure and be a thought partner on reporting for the future.
- Be the EMEA lead on all global system transitions and data infrastructure launches, ensuring regional requirements are met.
