Scope: Financial Analyst for Life Science Group

Position: Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Support revenue and operating income goals thru price attainment and establish price standards, strategies, and performance
  • Build organizational capabilities, and communicates key pricing insights and recommendations to Leadership and other relevant business partners
  • Offers professional growth opportunities that resonate beyond pricing and financial analytics
  • Provides exposure to multiple subject areas, including strategy, marketing, data science, technology, and product management
  • Retrieve, consolidate, analyze and summarize data from very large data sets using SQL
  • Provide analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives that include setting list prices, establish customer specific discounts and identify product conversion opportunities
  • Develop tools in SQL and excel to help businesses set strategic prices in the market, implement pricing improvement programs, and report financial impact
  • Identify, validate, and implement opportunities for sales performance improvements
  • Support the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that improve existing performance
  • Evaluate price-volume tradeoffs of deals and provide reporting to management
  • Assists team in optimizing customer pricing
  • Perform analysis and prepare executive-level reports of findings
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis for business units, customer, products and vendors
  • Manage product vitality and price realization reporting leveraging commercial database
  • Coordinate and support the development and preparation of the annual strategic plan, annual operating plan and monthly results analysis and forecast
  • Drive rigorous and transparent financial reporting, metrics, financial planning and analysis, and budgeting throughout the business so better business decisions can be made
  • Establish and improve performance metrics to assist with business evaluation and decision making. Develop key metric indicators that promote awareness and generate improvement actions. Measure actual results versus targets
  • Provide financial information and make recommendations for the business partners to make sound business decisions
  • Establish relationships with business leadership team and define practices and strategies to add value and maintain cost effectiveness
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required

How will you get there?

Education : Degree B.S in relevant majors (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics etc)

Experience / Skills

  • 2 + years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related position preferred
  • Excellent analytical capabilities including SQL, Excel and relational database skills
  • Experience with in-depth financial modeling as well as strong analytical and statistical problem solving skills, including data handling and programming skills
  • Detailed understanding of and experience with financial reporting
  • Dynamic, high energy leadership skills and effective communication skills
  • Collaboration skills – Able to effectively collaborate with peers in other functions and with colleagues in other businesses or divisions
  • Ability to recognize non-routine problems that occur in a highly complex and changing production environment, and ability to anticipate future problems

Language: Proficient in Korean and English
