Financial Accountant

Business Services Group based on the outskirts of Chichester, West Sussex, has a requirement for a Financial Accountant to undertake a newly created position as a consequence of a period of continual growth and acquisition.

What will the role involve?

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Responsible for ensuring all revenue and income accounting is accurate and in compliance with IFRS accounting standards;
• Support the production of accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts and related reports for the Group and entities for different business segments amongst the different businesses in the current portfolio of the multisite business;
• Ensure financial controls are robust, highlight issues and propose solutions;
• Support the production of the annual budget;
• Management of the Accounts Receivable team to ensure revenues are complete and accurate for a multisite, multi system platform to extract information for the different revenue streams.

Suitable Candidate

• Applicants for the position will be either part or fully qualified with previous experience of financial and management accounting, ideally within a fast-paced multi-site business;
• Adaptability, tenacity and the ability to be ‘hands-on’ will be essential to undertake the role successfully.

Additional Information

• The role will be predominantly office based with the flexibility to work from home on an occasional basis.
